The Afghan Hound is basically a really tall dog with a fancy hairdo that looks like it just stepped out of a 1970s disco. It has the elegance of a runway model but the personality of a cat that doesn’t want to be petted. Its legs are so long that it could probably see over most fences. The coat is super fluffy and tends to sway dramatically in the wind, giving the impression that it’s perpetually ready for a photo shoot. When it runs, it’s like watching a graceful gazelle... if the gazelle had a slightly aloof attitude and a penchant for ignoring you. Overall, it's a regal creature that definitely knows it's better than you.
