Discus

A discus is like a funky fish pancake that swims around in water, spinning and twirling like it’s auditioning for a dance contest. It’s got a flat, round body that makes it look like it’s been squished by a giant hand, and it sport some pretty colors, almost like a mobile piece of artwork that forgot what a canvas is. Instead of legs, it has fins that wave around like they’re trying to signal for help, and it prefers to hang out in cozy, warm water, looking for friends who are equally flamboyant. It doesn't bark, meow, or chirp—just glides around, occasionally making bubbles as if to say, "I’m fabulous, get used to it!"
